La Cambusa presents its weekly Cous Cous Night, the Thursday evening event devoted to one of Sicily’s most iconic dishes. The proposal is designed to offer a refined dining experience in the heart of Piazza Marina, combining conviviality, culinary tradition and a wine selection that enhances the menu.
A cous cous rooted in Sicilian tradition
Cous Cous Night features the classic Trapanese-style fish cous cous, prepared with daily catch fillet, scampi, calamari, mussels and clams. The hot fish broth, served on the side, allows guests to adjust flavours and texture to their preference, highlighting the richness of the sea in every serving. It is a recipe that reflects the history of Sicilian cuisine and Palermo’s enduring bond with its maritime heritage.
Grillo: a glass that reflects Sicily
The dish is paired with a glass of Grillo, one of Western Sicily’s most distinctive white grape varieties. In the glass, it shows a bright straw-yellow colour with golden hues, while the nose reveals notes of ripe citrus, white flowers and Mediterranean herbs, with a delicate saline hint recalling the nearby sea.
On the palate, Grillo combines freshness and softness, with a savoury finish that brings balance and clarity to each sip. A Thursday evening without ZTL concerns
Cous Cous Night is available every Thursday evening at €20 per person, with a minimum of two guests. After 8:00 p.m., access to Piazza Marina is not subject to ZTL restrictions, making it easier to reach the restaurant even by car. The evening is organised to be both convenient and enjoyable, so guests can simply focus on the food and the company.
